Our Story
Alumnipad is a social enterprise founded to solve a problem that affects educational institutions everywhere: disconnected alumni networks.
Across Africa, schools and universities were losing touch with the very graduates who could mentor, fund, and champion the next generation. Traditional tools were too generic, too expensive, or simply not built for the realities of alumni engagement — especially in emerging markets.
We set out to change that. Alumnipad grew out of alumni-mobilisation work with the Next Generation Leadership Programme and with school alumni associations in Kenya, and we built it from the ground up for the people who run those associations. Today we work alongside alumni associations across Kenya, helping them raise funds, coordinate events, run mentorship programmes and keep alumni connected for life.
What began as a response to local challenges has grown into a platform any alumni association can start on today — but our roots in community-first, impact-driven technology remain at the heart of everything we do.
